The Honorable Wally Herger
United States House of Representatives
Washington, DC 20515

Dear Representative Herger:

The California Cattlemen's Association (CCA) would like to thank you and the staff members of the U, S, Forest Service for meeting with our members to discuss CCA's concerns with the Quincy Library Group Bill, While there was unanimous agreement from the Forest Service that CCA's concerns could potentially be realized, our members are heartened to know that the Forest Service believes those concerns represent a worst case scenario and that they conclude there is an extremely low probability of grazing being impacted in such a detrimental manner.

However, since, the Forest Service acknowledges the potential for grazing to be affected in an adverse manner, CCA appreciates your willingness to support colloquies which further clarify the true intent of the legislation. Enclosed is proposed colloquy language that is supported not only by CCA but also by the California Farm Bureau Federation.

Once again, CCA thanks you for meeting with our members and the Forest Service staff- While our members continue to have concerns with the legislation we appreciate your efforts to further clarify the intent of the bill, Our members look forvard to working with you in the future regarding proper QLG implementation.

Sincerely

/s/
